Brian Arwari PhD, co-founder of Lightguard, is a Professor and Director of the Neuro-Cognitive lab at the University of Miami.
A few years ago, after innumerable gun violence events, he asked himself if – besides the ongoing second amendment debate – there was anything that other disciplines such as psychology or neuroscience, could do to help protect innocent victims. He reached out to his friend, Ernest Bachrach, who has over 30 years of experience in private equity and company development.
Ernest and Brian put together a team of highly qualified engineers in order to create a device that would help reduce the incidence of gun violence: The result is Lightguard
